Turfco F15B Mete-R-Matic ®
Dedicated top dressing machines, like the Mete-R-Matics, are designed specifically for the application of all common top dressing materials. The hoppers are normally larger, and the metering gates will adjust for a very fine application as well as open much wider for heavy applications. The Mete-R-Matic was the first dedicated top dresser, introduced in 1961. The concept of a conveyor, metering gate, and high speed rotating brush has set the standard for top dressing performance since that time. Turfco provides an ideal self propelled top dresser for smaller turf areas and tighter greens - i.e. bowling greens. Its light footprint is very helpful for new or refurbished greens reducing the traffic of utility vehicles. Operator controls allow finger tip access to forward, reverse, brakes and throttle. Its patented chevron belt allows very accurate and uniform top dressing.

The Mete-R-Matic® CONCEPT
1. The adjustable metering gate accurately controls the flow of top dressing.
2. The high-speed rotating brush catches the top dressing from the conveyor belt and drives it down to the base of the turf
3. A heavy-duty chevron surface conveyor belt carries the top dressing from the hopper through the metering gate to the brush. Top dressing flows evenly and accurately.
